Trending News: Here Are The Non-Masculine Behaviors Women Find Super Sexy
Why Is This Important?
Not being masculine enough is stressing guys out and it needs to stop.
Long Story Short
Just because you think a behavior isn’t masculine, it doesn’t mean that she’s not totally into it. A recent study dubbed ‘Masculinity Around the World’, which was carried out by the UK’s DrEd, actually found that over 50% of women love a crier and 70% are seriously attracted to bakers. So stop chopping down trees and wrestling bears and start baking instead.
A new study conducted by DrEd asked 1,000 European and American men to answer a list of questions related to masculinity and their everyday habits, then got women to “weigh in on what’s sexy, what’s just fine, and what’s not” and yes, the answers will surprise you.
First up, style. 50% of women said they want a guy who is both manly and metro i.e. someone who cares about how they look, at least a little bit. Of the other half, 38% wanted a man who was laid back and didn’t put much thought into fashion.
Then came the question of sitting down to pee. 50% of American men and 67% of European men said they sometimes do take a seat and guess what? Ladies don’t care. At all. In fact, 36% of European women actually said they prefer it if their man sits down.
After that, the survey rolled into emotional territory, exploring how masculinity and tears relate. While almost 35% of both American and European men said they’d feel “uncomfortable” if a male friend cried in front of them, over 50% of women said they’d feel “trusted” and “honored” by a display of tears. Time to let those tear ducts do some work, fellas.
Finally, the study tallied up all the seemingly non-masculine activities women found to be sexiest. Almost 60% of American women (and 50% of European women) said dancing was sexy, about 55% of American women (and 50% of European women) said painting was a turn-on and, get this, 70% of both American and European women found baking to be beyond hot. Yes, baking. (Here are some easy recipes to get you started. You’re welcome.)
As the report from DrEd sums up, “it’s refreshing to see the majority of women say the men they’re most attracted to are not the traditional manly men.” So stop worrying about being manly enough and start being yourself! Especially if that includes some tears and cupcakes.
