Pantone Celebrates New York Subway System Signage With New Artwork JD June 22, 2015 men health 102 Back in 1970, Bob Noorda and Massimo Vignelli created the iconic signage for the New York Subway System. Today, the same simple and elegant system is still in use, and has become the subject of a new piece of art by Pantone. Alex Daly and Hamish Smyth, artists and designers at Pantone, have created a new poster that has all 468 stations of the incredibly complex New York Subway Systems represented by their signages. By the looks of it, this work of art was a painstaking endeavor that only a true love affair with New York City could see through. See the new poster in the gallery below.
